FILEX confirms program of industry events from March to July

Aiming to define 'A New Era of Fitness' in the post-COVID era, the organisers of FILEX have announced a series of in person events running from March to July. The events are the FILEX Business Summit & Expo, the FILEX Trainer Summit & Expo and the invitation only FILEX Leadership Summit.

Explaining a new determination to not just run its events as scheduled, but to make 2022 the very best ever, FILEX General Manager Anthony Reed advised “these events will be celebrations of Australia's fitness industry - the best way to shake off a tough couple of years and to tell the nation - we are back!”

Focusing on the future, FILEX has renewed its commitment to the industry by promising a line up of events that speak directly to key topics effecting all fit pros in 2022 and beyond, Reed explained “we have been in deep industry consultation mode.

“We are so proud that FILEX is known as 'the home of fitness', and we aim to live up to that title by building events that are based on the industry’s feedback and future needs.”

FILEX has also been proactively working with some of the biggest brands in fitness, to make sure that Australia maintains its global position as an epicentre of fitness innovation and expertise. These partners, including LesMills, Myzone, Xplor, Mindbody, Pain Away and MedFit, all share a common passion for the growth and development of Australia’s fit pro community.

Reed noted “if you are serious about the fitness industry and the ongoing training and development of fit pros all over the country, then FILEX is for you.

New Strategic Partnerships
FILEX has also announced that it has formed strategic partnerships with both the MedFit Network, a professional membership organisation for fitness, medical and healthcare professionals, and MedFit Education Foundation, an organisation dedicated to facilitating education and empowering professionals to work with those with medical conditions, chronic disease, disabilities and women’s health issues.

The partnership provides fitness and allied healthcare professionals access to a package of web-based health and fitness education tools, including the MedFit Education Foundation’s MedFit Classroom, MedFit TV, and an online directory to locate fitness and healthcare professionals around the world with experience in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
