Manhattan fitness studio owner Mark Fisher to address first FILEX virtual summit of 2021

Manhattan fitness studio owner Mark Fisher to address first FILEX virtual summit of 2021Following the success of the last two virtual summits in 2020, FILEX will return on Friday 30th April and Saturday 1st May, with the theme ‘Stronger Together’ and with high profile New York boutique fitness studio co-owner Mark Fisher as a keynote speaker.

Organisers explain “with FILEX bringing the best speakers to the virtual stage from across the globe and covering the latest topics … Mark Fisher, who received rave reviews from his previous FILEX Convention appearance, is back by popular demand opening the event with the first keynote presentation.”

Fisher (pictured above), the co-owner of Mark Fisher Fitness, a boutique fitness studio in midtown Manhattan in New York, is an in-demand international speaker, consultant, and entrepreneur with acknowledged expertise in helping business owners achieve financial success and personal freedom through community building, leadership development, and creating healthy organisational cultures.

His signature style sees him presenting his unconventional business strategies with flair, fun and real life insight, bringing a fresh perspective for fitness professionals and fitness business operators navigating the new normal.

Announcing the Virtual Summit’s ‘Stronger Together’ theme, the FILEX Directors advised “in 2020, we saw the fitness industry face one of its biggest challenges.

“And yet it also provided many opportunities for business to pivot, move into the online space and serve their communities. We were proud to be a part of the support for the industry, seeing so many people attend a FILEX event for the very first time. We want to continue to support the industry by holding virtual events in conjunction with face-to-face offerings.”

With the Summit set to attract trainers, coaches, instructors and independent gym and studio owners, FILEX is also shining a spotlight on active aging and hosting a broad range of experts on the topic.

Here the organisers note “with more than a quarter of all Australians being aged over 50 and yet most of the fitness industry is aimed at a much younger age bracket.

“With the overwhelming feedback from the industry that this is an area where more focus and education is needed. FILEX has made the decision to have greater focus on topics and issues affecting our older population clients and members.

“There is a real opportunity in the industry to serve the over 55's market more effectively so keep an eye out on the next announcement of active ageing speakers never-before-seen at FILEX.”

FILEX organisers are also aiming to make the Summit as accessible as possible for all types of fitness professionals and business operators with two-day passes for members just $149 with all early bird tickets purchased including a 12-month FILEX Premium Membership valued at $269.
