FILEX Convention announces closing ceremony keynote speaker Lisa O’Neill

Australasia’s leading fitness convention, FILEX, has announced its third keynote speaker for its 2020 Convention, with charismatic New Zealander Lisa O’Neill to deliver the closing presentation.

Presenting three keynote speakers at FILEX for the first time ever, O’Neill joins Paralympian Kurt Fearnley and fitness industry heavyweight Emma Barry.

Looking forward to her presentation, a FILEX Convention spokesperson advised “Lisa has over 10 years' experience as a keynote presenter and has the rare ability to deliver powerful messages through humour.

“As a sought-after speaker across Australia and New Zealand we have no doubt she will absolutely electrify our passionate and energised delegates so they leave FILEX 2020 ready to take on the world.”

O’Neill, who has worked in the fitness industry as an aerobics instructor, commented “the combination of fluoro-coloured Lycra, loud music and a desire to be impressive on stage really did it for me.

“It was actually my first taste into motivational speaking.”

In her presentation, O’Neill (pictured above) will be covering the topic of energy, excellence and enthusiasm.

The three-day event, powered by Fitness Australia, offers 12 CECs and begins on Friday 1st and runs through until Sunday 3rd May and is co-located with the Fitness Show B2B.

The event is preceded by pre-convention summits on Thursday 30th April with delegates having the option to choose from either the Business Summit or The Ultimate Trainer Summit.

The trainer summit attracts an additional 5 CECs for 2020 which is an increase from the previous year.
