Barry’s launches first fitness studio in Melbourne
High-intensity fitness workout phenomenon Barry’s has opened its first Melbourne studio within the Como centre in South Yarra, conveniently nestled in the heart of Melbourne’s boutique fashion and dining district.
The official opening followed an exclusive launch event with guests including Rebecca Harding, Elliot Garnaut and Tully Lou.
Barry’s Head of Curriculum APAC, Shannon Belcastro enthuses “we’ve been so overwhelmed by the amazing response we’ve had to Barry’s Melbourne and we’re so excited that the new South Yarra Studio will give even more people the chance to experience Barry’s - the best workout in the world. We are excited to introduce a host of new Barry’s instructors who are at the top of their game and couldn’t think of a more perfect location for Melbourne’s very first Red Room, which so perfectly complements the ever-growing hustle and bustle of one of Melbourne’s most prominent lifestyle districts.”
The original results driven workout, which now has a presence in nine countries can see participants burn up to 1000 calories in a single class, thanks to the carefully curated pairing of cardio intervals with strength training combinations. This science -based method is proven to lean and tone the body, while boosting resting metabolism so calories continue to burn long after the workout.
Barry’s highlight that “in the Barry’s Red Room, everything becomes possible. The magical combination of instructor, lighting and music will help you push through the ‘I can’ts’ and ‘If only’s’ so you can become the best version of yourself.”
The new studio also houses the famous Barry’s Fuel Bar where visitors can pick up a healthy protein packed post-workout shake, enjoy premium amenities including Dyson hair dryers and Oribe hair care, complimentary towels and wifi as well as a retail facility featuring must have Barry’s activewear, collaborations and merchandise.
Melbourne launch specials are now offering a three class pack for $65, valid until 31st January.
Barry’s currently has three Sydney studios, located in Kings Cross, Surry Hills and Martin Place. A second Melbourne studio is set to open in Flinders Lane later this year.
The Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG) is the master franchisor for Barry’s in Australia.
