Border closures force Fitness and Wellness Australia show organisers to move event to June
With the Omicron variant continuing to impact the conventions market, the organisers of Fitness + Wellness Australia have advised that their inaugural event will be shifted by 11 weeks to run on 16th and 17th June 2022.
Postponed from 2021, the expo had been intended to run next month with a full exhibition floor. However, several major industry suppliers have been hit with global shipping delays, holding back new equipment and technologies that they had planned to launch at the March event.
Event Director, Shaun Krenz commented “in consultation with our exhibitor and industry advisory boards, the overwhelming sentiment is that June amply extends the time required to make sure attendees get to experience all the industry has to offer.
“With Western Australia and New Zealand currently imposing entry and exit border rules, there are also many industry buyers and suppliers who simply wouldn’t be able to attend.”
Fitness + Wellness Australia is a new trade show dedicated to the business of running successful active health, fitness and leisure businesses. Scaling to more than 13,000 metre² - the event enables owners, managers and buyers to test-drive the latest equipment and technology, and to immerse themselves in the most comprehensive conference program for growing their businesses.
