End of lease sees closure of Sydney Holey Moley mini golf location
The Holey Moley mini golf bar at Newtown in Sydney’s inner west - one of the brand’s first venues - has permanently closed.
In a statement, Holey Moley’s parent company Funlab said the lease of the branch ended in May, with a spokesperson advising “as we finish up our lease period, we want to thank the amazing Newtown community for their fantastic support and for completing literally hundreds of thousands of rounds of mini-golf over the last seven years.”
The spokesperson added that all Newtown staff were given roles at other Sydney venues.
Holey Moley has venues in South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, Canberra and Western Australia as well as in New Zealand and the USA.
