Australian Institute of Fitness launches next-gen professional development
Widely regarded as the premier registered training organisation for the fitness industry in Australia, the Australian Institute of Fitness has announced a new era of ultra-flexible ongoing education for fitness professionals.
The Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) has launched the next phase of its professional development offering - Network - which uses mobile-friendly technology to enable CEC and short courses to be completed anywhere, at any time.
Leading the way in professional development for the fitness industry for more than 30 years, Network long operated alongside its sister company, AIF, to look after the ongoing education needs of qualified fitness professionals.
Two years ago, AIF integrated Network into its industry offerings, allowing it to evolve into an education provider that can both launch fitness and massage careers through its highly regarded industry certifications, and then support their ongoing success with professional development.
AIF Chief Executive, Steve Pettit notes that through the evolution of Network, ongoing fitness education just got better.
Pettit explains “the new Network offering marks a monumental shift in the ongoing education landscape, moving away from the old-style membership model still offered by some outfits, towards a flexible subscription service that delivers incredible choice, control and value to fitness professionals by putting premium fitness education at their fingertips.
“Offering the most diverse range of courses in the industry, from nutrition and strength training, to functional anatomy and women’s health, an ELITE subscription with Network provides unlimited access to over 60 courses that you can study whenever and wherever suits you - all for one low monthly price. Plus, with new courses added every month, there will always be something new to learn.”
In addition, AIF’s Network is shaking up the sector by also offering a FREE subscription option that includes access to content as well as 12 CEC’s worth of online study annually - which represents a zero-cost route to earning all the credits needed for registration with AUSactive (formerly Fitness Australia) or other industry registration bodies.
Network uses AIF’s customised intelligent learning system, IGNITE, to provide a personalised learning platform that is mobile friendly and can be used on-the-go (online or offline) to suit fitness professionals’ lifestyles.
Pettit adds “Can’t put aside three hours at the weekend to sit at a computer and study? No worries - with Network you can grab 15 minutes between clients or in the coffee queue to access courses on your phone or tablet.”
Whether fitness professionals are looking to further their personal knowledge or need to earn credits for their professional development, Network’s extensive and constantly growing library of courses can help them stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving fitness industry to reach their full potential. With a subscription to Network, the upskilling possibilities are endless.
