Australian Institute of Fitness recognises Justin Tamsett as 'industry legend'

Training organisation the Australian Institute of Fitness has recognised fitness industry consultant Justin Tamsett as an 'industry legend'.

The status recognises Tamsett's work with the Institute on marketing, sales and business development over 15 years as well as his wider activity as an international industry speakers who had delivered hundreds of industry presentations on business and leadership to over 190,000 people around the world.

These achievements were recognised by Fitness Australia in 2011 with Tamsett being inducted into Fitness Australia’s inaugural Fitness Industry Honour Roll.

Tamsett (pictured) started his career as a gym instructor before opening his own personal training business. In 1994, he opened Active Fitness which was complemented in 2001 by the Sydney-based Active Health Club.

Having sold his gyms in 2004, he became a leading industry consultant, educating fitness professionals on challenges, trends and innovations.

His Active Management consultancy is one of Australia’s leading coaching business with paid and free tools to aid all types of fitness businesses.

With campuses located in and around every major Australian city, the Australian Institute of Fitness is the largest fitness training organisation in Australia.
