Australian Institute of Fitness appoints new Sales and Marketing Manager

The Australian Institute of Fitness has announced the appointment of Sean Cosgrove as Sales and Marketing Manager.

After a series of interviews, Sean was identified as the ideal person to assist in taking the company to new heights.

After six years in the fitness and leisure industry fulfilling roles in sales, marketing and general management, with experience in leading teams to achieve sales success, Sean will be using his skills in the education of fitness professionals.

With the Australian Institute of Fitness leading the industry in the development of courses that enable graduates to succeed as fitness professionals, Cosgrove is starting at a very exciting time, with new products launching in the coming weeks.

Cosgrove stated "it's great to be joining Australian Institute of Fitness at this time, and assisting the Careers Team in reaching new heights to create an army of Warriors. The Institute is passionate about giving its students new career opportunities, along with the amazing opportunity to change people's lives."

Cosgrove has grown up with both parents involved in the fitness and wellness fields, so the industry was a natural choice for him.

He adds "I've seen first hand the way we can transform people's lives physically, mentally and emotionally, and it's something I'm very privileged to be a part of."

The Institute has recently teamed up with Dr Andrew Rochford to work together to encourage Australians to be healthier, and with more than 60% of Australians overweight or obese, and many suffering from lifestyle diseases, this is a hugely important time for the industry.

Cosgrove hopes to make his mark at the Institute's national office in St Leonards, NSW by further enhancing career opportunities for Institute graduates, and building lasting partnerships within the health and fitness industry.

The Australian Institute of Fitness will be exhibiting on stand N8 at this weekend's Australian Fitness & Health Expo at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
