TFX opens Singapore’s largest fitness centre on Raffles Boulevard

Singapore’s homegrown fitness brand, True Group has opened TFX Millenia Walk - the country’s largest commercial fitness centre.

The 3,874 metre² TFX facility at Millenia Walk on Raffles Boulevard houses a full range of cardio, strength and functional training equipment including from Ziva and Torque. It has three studios including a large spinning studio with ICG bikes and a yoga studio, and offers a wide range of classes including dance, hot yoga and functional training.

It is also home to TFX’s first-ever obstacle race training zone called TerraX. This extensive obstacle race training playground allows members to train for any race and includes a 4x25 metre running track and obstacles like Tire Flips, Spiderman Walk, Hercules Hoist, Olympic Ring Cross and Rope Climbs. Obstacle race training classes led by specialist TerraX coaches include the TerraX Technix introductory class which teaches the fundamentals and basic technical elements of a variety of obstacles.

Commenting on the new facility, True Group Chief Executive, Ken Mok stated “one of the biggest trends we have seen is the growth towards experiential fitness, that is, fitness activities that offer an added experience on top of the exercise itself.

“In tandem with this trend is an increased interest and participation in events such as obstacle races. True Group picked up on this trend and launched our new TFX clubs in 2019 to offer a curated fitness experience and a new large TerraX indoor obstacle race training facility with OCR classes at our third TFX club at Millenia Walk.”
