2023 FILEX Business Summit and Expo moves to November
The organisers of the 2023 FILEX Business Summit and Expo have advised that the event has been moved from its originally planned dates in late August to Thursday 9th and Friday 10th November.
Being held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the event promises, according to the organisers, to offer “Australia's best opportunity to learn, connect and share with the best fitness business owners in the country”.
Australia’s best known fitness events brand will see leading edge presentations aimed at fitness business owners with topics to include, sales recruitment, online lead generation, retention and brand development.
While well known, FILEX is competing in a crowded fitness events market with FIT Summit’s Asia-Pacific Health, Fitness and Wellness Festival being held in Sydney from 21st to 23rd November.
Earlier this year, FILEX went through a change in its ownership structure with the industry led group that purchased the FILEX Convention on behalf of the industry in 2017 - consisting of Andrew Simmons, Justin McDonell and Bill Moore along with Fitness Australia (AUSactive) selling their stakes.
FILEX Managing Partner David Allan has expanded his stake, securing investment from fitness business coach Dan Henderson, the founder of Dan Henderson Coaching and Director of the Functional Training Institute.
Early bird tickets for the FILEX Business Summit and Expo are available until 31st July.
