Plus Fitness partner with Kelly Racing and Heimgartner for 2019 Supercars season

Leading fitness franchise Plus Fitness has announced its backing for Kelly Racing (previously Nissan Motorsport) and driver Andre Heimgartner for the 2019 Supercars Championship, kicking off at the Adelaide 500 this weekend.

This represents the second-consecutive season that Plus Fitness have appeared as naming-rights sponsors of the Heimgartner driven, Kelly Racing Car #7. Heimgartner’s entry will also carry a major association with leading Australian media agency 360 Degree Marketing Group, while Australian-made whisky brand NED Whisky will also feature prominently on his car for the famous Adelaide 500 event.

Heimgartner enjoyed a strong 2018 season, finishing the year with three consecutive top 10 results, including two appearances in the top 10 shootouts and finishing the season with a career best 6th position in the Newcastle 500.

The new-for-2019 livery has already been well received by the fans and the media and the car is ready for Heimgartner to hit the circuit for the first time from today, with the first practice session being held in twilight conditions, starting at 5:30pm local time.

Commenting on the partnership, Plus Fitness Chief Executive John Fuller stated “Plus Fitness is proud to extend its support of the #7 Supercar in association with our media partners 360DMG and to celebrate our firth year of sponsorship at the top of Australian Motorsport.

“To stand alongside and to rub shoulders with some of Australia’s most iconic brands brings great exposure and credibility to Plus Fitness nationally and to see interest in Supercars continue to grow brings great value to our franchisees.

“Supercar sponsorship not only opens up a whole new market to Plus Fitness including new franchisees and members it also allows us to work alongside a great bunch of hard working people at Kelly Racing and Andre Heimgartner who we have no doubts will continue to produce great results in the upcoming Supercar season.”
