Rocket Agency’s Plus Fitness project wins Google Premier Partner Display Innovation Award

Digital marketing agency Rocket’s innovative work with leading 24/7 gym group Plus Fitness has been announced as the winner of this year’s Google Premier Partner Display Innovation Award in Australia and New Zealand.

The fast growing franchise, founded by partners Nigel Miller and John Fuller, engaged the Rocket Agency to drive its industry-leading digital marketing strategy to generate higher quality leads through their website and overall online presence.

Undertaking a tactical engagement focused on Re-marketing through Facebook and the Google Display Network, over the initial three month engagement, Plus Fitness ads were viewed almost 3.6 million times. This has roughly split 55/45 between Facebook and the Google Display Network.

These impressions resulted in 8,381 visits back to the Plus Fitness website which subsequently led to 3,461 conversions (including membership sign-ups and requests for contact).

Plus Fitness also experienced a 58% increase in conversions and a 69% increase in organic keyword positions.

Commenting on the campaign, Miller explained “we have seen a dramatic increase in social media activity since engaging with Rocket and feel that our brand presence from a digital aspect has had steady growth.”

In addition to being named the winner of this year’s Google Premier Partner Awards, in the Display Innovation category for its work with Plus Fitness, the Rocket Agency has also been announced as finalists in the Search Innovation and Growing Businesses Online categories for its clients Jamesons Strata Management and Atkinson Vinden Lawyers.

The Google Premier Partner Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the top-performing Google Premier Partners for their contributions to digital marketing, product innovation and client growth across the world.

The regional winners will now face off against the rest of the world and the Global Winners will be announced at the 2017 Google Partner Summit in New York City.

Plus Fitness currently has 158 gyms in operation, with 140,000 members, and 235 territories sold.

A new Plus Fitness opens every 21 days.
