Cvent continues growth across Asia-Pacific region
Cloud-based event management company Cvent’s recent expansion across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is yielding a range of new business relationships, with a number of new clients on board.
With a growing number of clients in the APAC region using Cvent’s platform to launch, manage and execute their events, the company has opened new offices in Singapore and Melbourne.
Cvent's Australian Director of Sales Jack Ukil explains "our local Mebourne office permits us to develop deep business relationships that promote conversations regarding the partnership Cvent brings to enable its clients to put on engaging events.
“While Cvent has had a strong global brand name and reputation, our local business presence is further establishing trust and confidence in our comprehensive platform that is built to handle the entire event lifecycle.”
New customers include Meetings and Events Australia, Australian Leisure Media (publishers of Australasian Leisure Management), The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Salvation Army of Australia, Singapore Institute of Directors, Cotton on Group, IDP Education, Human Capital Leadership Institute, and Singapore Shipping Association.
Cvent Singapore's Director of Sales Will Kataria said it is rewarding to be a part of the evolution of event technology in Singapore, adding “Singapore event organisers took advantage of Cvent’s recent lunch series to collaborate with peers on the challenges they face.
“At these lunches, event organizers discussed the role technology can play to, not only resolve these challenges, but assist in increasing attendee engagement and help track the ROI of events.”
Cvent has provided the web platform and App for the Leisure Industry Communication and Marketing Summit and Awards 2017 at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on Thursday 24th August. It also works with the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo, National Sports Convention and New Zealand Recreation Association.
