Nick Guinane named 2016 AEG Ogden Scholarship winner
Nick Guinane, Event Project Manager at Melbourne and Olympic Parks’ Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Arena has been named as the recipient of the 2016 AEG Ogden Scholarship.
Presented during the recent Venue Management School (VMS) by AEG Ogden Executive Director Rod Pilbeam, this sought after industry scholarship is awarded each year to a student who successfully completes the two years of study at the VMS, and further demonstrates achievement in a range of assessment criteria.
The Scholarship has been awarded for the leading graduate from the VMS each year since its inception, and is valued at $10,000 per annum.
Guinane will receive enrolment in the IAVM-VMS Graduate Institute at Oglebay, USA, and will also be entitled to make at least one venue visit in another city during the trip. All travel and Graduate Institute fees will be covered by the Scholarship with AEG Ogden assisting in the arrangements for the venue visit.
