Luna Park unveils Circus of Screams

Luna Park Melbourne has launched its new summer attraction - the Circus of Screams. Guests can take a 3D tour with the mysterious 'Dr Orloff' through a disorientating maze of corridors and rooms filled with tortured souls from another time.

The big top covers nearly 300 metre2 and the live interactive experience features high powered strobe lighting, audio, special effects, scare chambers, a spinning tunnel and live performers; including magician Gregor the Majestic and his assistant Madame Tetrallini, bizarre circus animals, the Killer Gorilla and Phroso the Clown and his crazy cousin.

Luna Park's Executive Director, Mary Stuart, explained that âwe are very pleased to present Circus of Screams to Melbourne on the 96th birthday of Luna Park. When Luna Park first opened on 13th December 1912, newsreel footage captured images of circus performers, trapeze artists and amazing feats being performed for the opening celebrations of the Park before a Melbourne audience of more than 20,000 people. We are delighted to bring a little Circus back to Luna Park."
