New FitHer event to focus on health and fitness for women

By Karen Sweaney

FitHer, a new consumer-oriented health and fitness expo focused on women, is to launch at the ICC Sydney in October.

Designed for women of all ages who want to become the fittest versions of themselves, FitHer will feature popular trainers, interactive events, product demonstrations, live workouts and exhibits.

Bringing together more than 150 exhibitors presenting a range of exciting fitness brands, the expo will feature categories as diverse as fashion, nutrition, beauty, travel and lifestyle.

FitHer will also include live talks on stage and live workouts each day.

Introducing the event, FitHer founder and Chief Executive, Emma Price notes “health and fitness is an important part of my life (but) like many women it can slip down on my list of priorities.

“I wanted to create a movement to inspire women to be the fittest version of themselves - whatever that looks like - and empower them to shift the focus and prioritise their health.

“In this online world we live it, I wanted to bring back the personal connection, where woman can see, feel and try products rather than relying on online reviews and content to make their choices.”

Trainers set to host live workouts and demonstrations include headlining trainer Kayla Itsines, who has over 16 million followers on Instagram, along with SWEAT’s Katie Martin, internet sensation Chontel Duncan and Kic founders Steph Claire Smith and Laura Henshaw.

Commenting on presenting her first bootcamp of 2023, Istines advises “as a trainer and advocate for women’s wellbeing, I cannot wait to be a part of an event that is all about inspiring and connecting women.”

Emphasising that the team at FitHer are all living their own fitness journey, coming from different health and wellness places and sharing diverse backgrounds and situations, Price adds “FitHer will not tell you how to look or what to weight.

“We understand that women are unique, glorious creatures that deserve every bit of love and light the universe can throw at them.

“Our goal is to make capturing opportunities for greatness as easy as possible, that's why we will bring it all to you in one awesome event at FitHer Expo.”

FitHer will be held on 7th and 8th October at the International Convention Centre Sydney from 10am-5pm (Saturday) and 10am-4pm (Sunday).

Entry is free.
