INTIX launches add-on no-fee donation feature for event tickets

As part of INTIX’s desire to improve our technology and customer experience, event managers can now include donations as add-ons for tickets at no extra charge.

With the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) having become increasingly important in the world of sport and events in recent years, sports organisations and events are collaborating with local charities and non-profit organisations to address social issues through initiatives such fundraising events that use their platforms to raise awareness about important causes.

Where other ticketing providers provide the ability to add on donations to charities and not-for-profits as part of the ticket purchase journey, they all tend to relieve a clip of this donation as part of the service, whereas INTIX does not charge anything for this extra feature.

Explaining that many sporting organisations and events are required to include a certain level of CSR such as community outreach, development programs and donations, INTIX Head of Commercial, Skye Larson commented “as sporting organisations and events look to how they can best meet the needs of CSR in their community and through their events, INTIX provides a not-for-profit solution that allows them to do this.”

With INTIX’s new feature add-on donations for not-for-profit sporting clubs, events, community groups or projects can all be added at no extra charge.

Larson noted “as a co-founder of a charity myself, I wanted INTIX to have this feature available to event managers, but not add any unnecessary charges that take away from the donation itself.

“Getting donations can be one of the hardest parts of running a charity or not-for-profit organisation, and it is not really any extra work for us to include that as an added feature for sporting organisations and events to help more community projects succeed.”

As the leading independent ticketing provider for sport in Australia, INTIX has been able to help many sporting organistions and events transform the way they manage events through our innovative solutions.
