INTIX appoints Board Chair and expands Melbourne team
INTIX has welcomed Glen McGoldrick as its Board Chair and two new members - Bridget Kovacevic and Emma Williams to the Melbourne team.
INTIX - an independent, Australian-owned and run digital ticketing platform - has been growing its service offering throughout Australia and internationally for the past four years.
INTIX Chief Executive, Alex Grant said although COVID has presented its challenges, INTIX has continued to grow and innovate.
Grant notes "we have made a real effort to offer our support and services locally to help events and sports directly affected by the COVID restrictions.
“Glen joined the INTIX Board in 2020, bringing 15 years experience heading up technology businesses including SportsTG, and now as Chief Commercial Officer at Memories. We are excited to have Glen help make INTIX the best possible digital ticketing platform.”
McGoldrick adds "It’s great to be involved with an innovative Australian tech company poised to revolutionise ticketing at scale. Alex has pulled together a great team and I was delighted to join the Board when approached. I am excited to once again be engaged with both technology and sport."
Bridget Kovacevic joined INTIX in December 2020 as their new Account Executive to help meet and exceed the needs of clients. Kovacevic has over 10 years experience in the sports and events industry having worked with Arnolds Sports Shows, the Australian Open and the AFL. She is well placed to understand how INTIX clients operate and what they require to make ticketing the least of their worries.
Kovacevic advises “I knew I wanted to continue working in an area I’ve always truly loved, especially after COVID hit. It’s exciting to be part of a Victorian business that is helping to revolutionise the event operations and ticketing world and I’m grateful to have been welcomed into the fantastic team at INTIX.”
Emma Williams started with INTIX in February 2021 as Business Development Manager to help expand the business and support more sports and events to use INTIX’s digital ticketing solution. Williams has been involved in event management and operations for the past 10 years and is passionate about the industry and building relationships. She has worked with high profile events including a Royal Wedding and British Ambassadors event in the middle east, and game day operations at AAMI park.
Williams enthuses “It’s so exciting to be part of a Victorian company that has great vision for the future of ticketing. I love business and building relationships and this is an amazing opportunity to do what I love and be a part of an exciting new venture. What a team and what a product, exciting times are definitely ahead.”
Grant commented “I am confident that with this team, INTIX can provide an exceptional digital ticketing experience to our clients, the customer, and our partners befitting events in 2021 and beyond.”
