INTIX named preferred ticketing supplier for 92 leagues and 1,200 clubs in VFL and VFLW
Boutique ticketing technology company INTIX has announced that it will work with AFL Victoria to supply ticketing services for its metropolitan and country leagues and clubs for 2021.
Aimed at helping local leagues and clubs meet COVIDSafe requirements in Victoria, having a preferred ticketing solution in place is one of a number of services made available by AFL Victoria to support its 92 leagues and 1,200 clubs.
Advising that the locally-based business is proud to be working with AFL Victoria, as one of the only fully Australian owned and run ticketing platforms, for this initiative, INTIX Chief Executive, Alex Grant stated “as a Victorian-owned business we have experienced first-hand some of the most severe impacts the pandemic has caused the sporting and events industry.
“Since the pandemic and restrictions hit Victoria in early 2020, we have been working hard at INTIX to support local sports and events to digitise ticketing and better meet COVIDSafe requirements.
“We are honoured to be working with AFL Victoria to support our iconic local footy leagues and clubs and will ensure we continue to strive for the highest standards for our clients.
INTIX is already working with a number of state league teams across Australia including Port Melbourne, Frankston and Subiaco and recently provided ticketing at the WAFL finals series and grand final.
INTIX's digital ticketing platform is easy to use and provides digital ticketing services that include online ticketing, point of sale, member passes and gate operations.
Grant added “we have an existing relationship with a number of leagues and clubs and they have already seen how our platform can work for them.
“Going digital is good for meeting COVID-safe requirements because you can more accurately contact trace and manage patron density, but in addition, it can also help you keep a better track of money and save a lot of time.
“We are excited to be a part of this and look forward to supporting the leagues and clubs in going digital and meeting government COVID-safe requirements.”
