City Venue Management achieves Queensland first Child Safe Certification
Gold Coast-based City Venue Management (CVM) has become the first Queensland based organisation to achieve Child Safe Certification by industry specialists Child Safeguard.
Advising that the certification recognises that CVM has implemented Child Safe Best Practices across its portfolio of aquatic and recreation venues, including two of its key businesses Rackley Swimming and Fish N Flips,
Child Safeguard Chief Executive, Marco Blanco stated “Child Safeguard is thrilled to present CVM with Child Safe Certification. It demonstrates that CVM has embedded the 10 Child Safe Standards across its policies, procedures, and practices. It is a strong recognition of CVM’s commitment to creating safer environments for children and young people across all its venues. It means that CVM values the best interests of children and young people and their protection from harm is paramount.”
CVM Chief People Officer Nicky Sloan, said the organisation was proud to be the first Queensland Operating Management company to achieve Child Safe Certification with Child Safeguard, adding "with 32 venues across Southeast Queensland, each one is a vital community-focused centre that inspires healthy and active lifestyles, in a safe environment for all children and young people. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Child Safeguard in the future.”
