WhiteWater launches ‘never-ending wave’ artificial surf concept

Aquatic leisure innovators FlowRider and WhiteWater have developed the WaveOz - a never-ending surfing wave concept.

The WaveOz - pronounced 'huevos' - is a 180-degree semi-circle, 37 metre-long sheet wave, allowing riders the largest wave experience on the market.

Using its latest inflatable ride surface technology, surfers can ride on a 200 metre² carpet of air.

WaveOz has been designed be expansive enough to allow expert riders put on a show in one area, while novices can practice off to the side without interference.

The WaveOz debuted at the Thermas dos Laranjais waterpark in Olimpia, Brazil with future WaveOz installations being planned worldwide.
