Australia Zoo announce development of aquatic play feature
Australia Zoo has announced that construction has commenced on a new water play area at the Sunshine Coast wildlife attraction.
The above-ground water adventure will be the first aquatic play structure at the popular attraction has been themed with native wildlife sculptures and will feature specially designed recycled water components.
Australia Zoo owner Terri Irwin says the attraction will be an exciting addition for guests to the Zoo, commenting “we are so excited to see this new area being created by our incredible team.
“Our enormous laughing frog will tip immense amounts of water after you hear him start croaking. We'll have a giant squirting kookaburra, a huge water bubbling crocodile, and many more.”
The development will also see the addition of new dining options and private cabanas, with access inclusive with paid admission to Australia Zoo.
