TryBooking update their user access management feature

Melbourne-based self-service booking platform, TryBooking has announced its latest feature update: User Access Management.

Established in 2008, TryBooking operates in Australia, New-Zealand, and the United Kingdom and provides software to clients enabling them to run events, sell tickets and take donations.

TryBooking Managing Director, Jeffery McAlister explains “as our clients have grown their organisations have become more mature with specific organisational roles. This feature is in response to client feedback and delivers a solution that aligns TryBooking user access with the roles and permissions that exist within their organisation.”

This recent update is set to improve user access for organisations and individual users over two main areas.

The first sees the introduction of three new user roles: Power User, Finance and Box Office. These join the existing roles of Account Owner, Basic Access, and Producer Access, giving organisations access to a total of six different Team Member roles on their account. Each role has a unique set of permissions and functionality access. This allows finance and funds to be segregated from the day-to-day event management, assisting with financial and data security.

The secondary component of this feature enhancement allows one user to access multiple TryBooking accounts. Some more prolific event creators prefer to segregate their events across different TryBooking accounts. In the past this meant having different logins/usernames for each segment, logging in and out each time they need to move between accounts. Now they can access all these accounts from the one email address/login. Switching between accounts is made easy through menu navigation.
