Vivaticket provides facial recognition for Dubai's major events
Italian-based ticketing and access control solutions provider Vivaticket has advised of its work in providing facial recognition solutions for events in Dubai, helping to keep audiences safe in the wake of COVID-19 and leading to an improved, more efficient customer experience.
In an interview with Platinum magazine, Davide Camaiora, Managing Director of Viviticket’s Middle East branch, explained “the technologies we are offering customers allow us to have a comprehensive customer experience.
“The user, just by looking at the camera, can also pay for all services within the venue, shops, restaurants and so on. This speeds up activities by avoiding physical contact crowds and long queues.”
With more than 2600 clients around the globe, including the Louvre in Paris and Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority, Vivaticket provides ticketing and access control services to a wide range of sectors, from culture to sport.
Commenting on this diversity, Camaiora added “thanks to our geographical and product diversification, the impact of COVID, which is exceptional for all entertainment markets has not affected our balance sheet, which is where we expect to close with a profit for 2020 and in the case of the Middle East, even with 15% growth.
“We need close and stimulating contact with our customers, we have no distribution partners, on-site presence is essential. Our growing success is also due to the investment of our international partners, (the) management I’m honoured to be part of, the know-how and the challenges we face.”
Earlier this year, Vivaticket also announced that it has formed a key new partnership with MyTicketAsia. MyTicketAsia is now the B2C exclusive reseller for Vivaticket in Southeast Asia and will promote Vivaticket’s integrated ticketing system to venues and events in the region.
