Revo Fitness opens Nunawading’s largest gym as $43 million lifestyle hub takes shape
Fast growing fitness chain, Revo Fitness has today opened a 2,500 square metre gym in Nunawading in Melbourne’s east. The new 24/7 facility is part of the $43 million transformation of the former Brand Smart outlet at 288 Whitehorse Road.
The precinct, led by IP Generation’s Chris Lock and anchored by a Tesla dealership, is being reimagined as a major lifestyle and retail destination.
The new facility features The Studio, a self-run, on-demand reformer Pilates and recovery space with 24-hour access, providing members unlimited access to 21 reformer beds, eight massage chairs and muscle therapy and recovery equipment.
Revo Nunawading boasts state of the art, all new fitness equipment including 12 squat racks, 24/7 HIITFIT circuit training and Tempo mat Pilates.
Revo Fitness Founder and Managing Director Andrew Holder said Nunawading was a natural fit for Revo’s transformative and refreshing approach to fitness.
Holder advised “as the eastern suburbs continue to grow, we’re proud to offer a space that’s not just about fitness but about making people’s everyday lives easier.
“We’ve designed this facility to meet the pace and lifestyle of the community – no complexity, no barriers, just great training when and how you want it.”
Revo Nunawading will offer two levels of membership - $9.69 per week for Level One and $12.69 per week for Level Two which includes access to The Studio. New members can also take advantage of an exclusive presale offer, enjoying their second and third months free.
IP Generation’s Founder and Chief Executive Chris Lock said Revo’s arrival marks a key part of the asset’s evolution noting “IP Generation’s focus has been to reposition the site into a highly functional multi-use precinct that serves contemporary lifestyles.”
Jai Wallis, Head of Leasing at IP Generation also noted that Revo Fitness will complement the tenancy mix, which includes Tesla and Ecosa.
Wallis added “securing best in class operators like Revo Fitness has been key to IP Generation’s vision. Revo will help deliver the everyday relevance and appeal we want this precinct to offer.”
To celebrate the opening, Revo is giving away 200 gym bags and limited-edition Nunawading tees to the first members through the door from 7:00am on opening day, with one lucky member set to win a pair of Apple Max headphones.
Nunawading marks Revo’s 10th gym in Victoria, with additional locations in Ballarat and Bayswater North also set to open this year.
The opening follows Revo’s recent acquisition of eight Crunch Fitness gyms in a strategic move that will see the Australian gym increase its Victorian gym count to 22 clubs. The Crunch Fitness gyms will be rebranded in the coming months and undergo complete refurbishments as part of the transition.
The Nunawading opening is part of the brand’s boldest growth phase yet, the ‘25 in 2025’ campaign, which will see Revo’s footprint grow to 77 gyms by the end of 2025.
