Revo Fitness provides 4,500 balls for WA Football competition

Thousands of young Australian rules players across Western Australia are set to benefit from a grassroots sporting initiative, with Revo Fitness match-balls set to be distributed among local metropolitan clubs as part of a new partnership designed to support children stay active.

Through a partnership with WA Football, Perth-based Revo Fitness is sponsoring 4,500 balls for the 2025 junior AFL season.

With 672 junior games played last weekend for Round 1, the initiative ensures every team has access to match-quality gear.

Advising that the partnership comes at an exciting time for the junior game in Western Australia with the sport seeing strong growth, WA Football Chief Executive, Michael Roberts stated “with the junior football season just commencing, we currently have almost 28,000 junior players registered across the metropolitan area.

“This support from Revo Fitness helps us keep pace with this growth and ensures clubs are well equipped heading into the new season.”

Revo Fitness founder and Managing Director, Andrew Holder said this partnership is about showing up for grassroots football and giving every young player the best possible experience on game day.

Holder noted “junior footy is where the love of sport and fitness begins for a lot of people.

“If we can help more kids stay active, connected and confident, that’s something we’re proud to stand behind.”

The balls are in the process of being distributed to metropolitan junior clubs.

Andrew Holder is featured in an article on rising entrepreneurs in Australia's fitness industry in the March/April 2025 issue (#167) of Australasian Leisure Management.
