Revo Fitness opens new gyms in Adelaide and Rockingham

Fast expanding gym chain Revo Fitness has this week announced the opening of two new gyms – in the southern Perth suburb of Rockingham and the Adelaide suburb of Woodville.

The 2,400 square metre gym at the Rockingham Centre, the brand’s largest facility south of the Swan River, welcomed with lines out the door and more than 150 members within the first hour of officially opening its doors as of yesterday (Tuesday 17th September).

Located at the popular suburban centre, on the corner of Council Avenue and Contest Parade, the gym shares the title of the group’s largest gym in Western Australia with Revo Mirrabooka.

The club features The Studio – a self-run, on-demand reformer Pilates and recovery space open 24/7, offering members unlimited access to 15 reformer beds, eight massage chairs, an Evolt 360 body scanner and muscle therapy and recovery equipment.

It also offers top of the range equipment including 16 squat racks, HIITFIT and Tempo mat Pilates 24/7 circuit training and a huge range of cardio and weight equipment.

Advising that Rockingham is a natural fit for Revo’s continued growth in the state, Revo Fitness Managing Director, Andrew Holder stated “we’re constantly listening to our members and expanding where we see strong demand, and Rockingham has been a key focus for us.

“The response from the community has been remarkable. Our opening was amazing, and our team are incredibly grateful that the people who have already started training with us have been such advocates of our brand. Our affordable memberships and high quality fit outs have been a hit across WA, and I am very proud to have us open and offer our service to the community of Rockingham.”

Revo’s growth will continue in the Peel region this year, with Mandurah set to open in October, while new north of the river locations in Wanneroo and Butler will open before the end of the year.

Rockingham Central Centre Manager Aaron Bennett said Revo Fitness is the latest exciting addition to the centre alongside new dining options on Syren Street, firmly positioning the centre as Rockingham’s leading retail destination.

Bennett noted “we’re shaping Rockingham Centre into a place where the community can connect and enjoy the best our local area has to offer. The recent introduction of Revo Fitness to the centre adds another level of convenience for our customers who are now able to work out, shop, and dine all under one roof.”

The new gym contributes to Revo’s total of 16 gym additions in 2024 – rounding out its most significant expansion program to date and growing its footprint across Australia to 52 gyms by the end of the year.

Opening today, Revo’s new 24/7 Woodville location marks the chain’s 45th gym and is a sign of its rapid expansion across South Australia.

Offering 1,100 square metre space designed to offer a dynamic fitness experience, Revo Woodville is is packed with cutting-edge equipment and features that cater to gym lovers, of all levels.

The gym offers six squat racks, Revo’s HIITFIT circuit training system, Tempo mat work Pilates areas, and a suite of brand-new fitness gear to help users achieve their goals.

Revo Fitness’ Woodville gym is conveniently situated on Port Road, offering free onsite parking for its members. The facility is well-placed for locals in adjoining suburbs, including Seaton, Royal Park, St Clair, Alberton, Kilkenny, Croydon Park, and surrounding areas.

The Revo story started with one 200 square metre gym opening in Perth’s Shenton Park in 2012, by then 21 year old Holder, a former Western Australia Sheffield Shield cricketer.
