Revo Fitness to sponsor Super Netball newcomer the Melbourne Mavericks
The Melbourne Mavericks has announced Revo Fitness as their official partner for their inaugural season in the Suncorp Super Netball league.
Revo Fitness will take flight alongside the Mavericks with the gym group’s 'I am a Maverick' Mini Combine to empower young netball enthusiasts. Aspiring netballers are invited to enrol and partake in elite netball conditioning, undergoing the same rigorous athletic testing employed by Mavericks players. This hands-on experience provides a firsthand glimpse into professional-level training, paving the way for aspiring athletes to elevate their skills.
In an effort to make elite training accessible to all, Revo Fitness will collaborate with the Mavericks on a series of at-home netball training videos. Led by Mavericks Strength and Conditioning coaches and players, these videos will grant fans access to the same drills and exercises professional netballers use to enhance their skills and fitness.
Further strengthening this partnership, Revo Fitness will recognise the Revo Fitness MVP of the Match award, presented to the top-performing Mavericks player after each game. Revo Fitness will also be integrated across Mavericks apparel, stadium signage, digital channels and social media platforms.
Richard Simkiss, Chief Executive of Mavericks owner SEN, commented "our partnership with Revo Fitness represents a shared commitment to nurturing talent and promoting healthy living within our community. We look forward to inspiring the next generation of netball athletes and providing valuable opportunities for our fans."
Andrew Holder, Revo Fitness founder and Managing Director, noted “we are excited to be partnering with Super Netballs’s newest side the Melbourne Mavericks. The Mav’s mission to expand netball and make it accessible to Melbourne’s large south east population aligns with our goal at Revo Fitness to make fitness affordable and accessible to the community.”
Advising that Revo Fitness’ 'I am a Maverick' Mini Combine and at-home netball training videos are great initiatives to keep aspiring netballers, and Mavs fans active, Holder added “we love that we can support a program empowering young people to lead healthier and more active lifestyles and pursue a sport they love. It is something we are really passionate about at Revo and we are thrilled to be on board.”
