Revo Fitness founder recognised as one Western Australia’s leading young entrepreneurs
Perth-based Andrew Holder, the founder of Revo Fitness, has been recognised as one of the city's brightest entrepreneurs, having been announced as a winner in one of the major categories at the Western Australia's 202240under40 Awards.
Presented today by Perth publication Business News at a gala event at Crown Perth, Holder won the Murdoch University People's Choice Award in recognition of his achievements in developing Revo Fitness as an accessible 24/7 gym brand operating at 15 locations in Western Australia.
His Award acknowledged his success in operating in a competitive gym franchise market with a unique membership offering and boutique fitness experience.
30-year-old Holder founded Revo Fitness in 2012 when he was just 21-years-old after graduating from the University of WA.
Advising that having the belief in what he was trying to achieve was the biggest barrier when he first started out, recently telling media “as a 21, 22-year-old trying to scale a business, you need buy-in, you need to instil the belief in your team that we’re on the right track and will achieve the expectations and goals.
“We needed to be able to be nimble enough, being a small business, but staying the course to ensure that we are sustainable.”
Holder has grown the business from a single facility in Shenton Park to multiple locations across Perth and is looking to expand in other states.
The Business News 40under40 Awards recognise a diverse range of Western Australia’s young business and community leaders. They received a record number of applicants this year.
