Perth fitness brand S30 opens fourth studio and looks to interstate expansion

S30, one of the latest studio brands to emerge from Perth’s fast growing fitness market, has announced the opening of its fourth studio - the brand’s second franchise to start operating in just nine weeks.

The new gym, S30 Myaree, joins other Perth locations in Mount Lawley, South Perth and a flagship studio in the CBD.

S30’s concept presents a fitness space with nightclub-style LED lighting and pumping music to match, with a live DJ suspended above the workout zone on Saturdays.

Offering 45-minute group sessions partnered-workout set to hip hop and RnB tracks, the brand’s name refers to the number of sets members will do in an average class, which combines functional fitness, weights and metabolic conditioning to present a sensory led, fully immersive exercise experience.

Commenting on the brand’s success, S30 Studio Chief Operating Officer, Luke Faulkner advised “the rapid growth of S30 is testament to the company’s compelling offering. Our studios offer a friendly and encouraging space for people of Perth to get a customised, results-driven workout.

“We are excited to continue our expansion into the Perth metropolitan area and welcome additional franchisees to the group.”

The new Myaree studio offers the brand’s $2 for two-week trials to welcome new exercisers and operates the brand’s no-lock-in contract for new members.

Faulkner reports an influx of enquiries from potential franchisees and predicts 17 additional franchises will be signed up within the next 12 months.

Expansion will take the fitness brand beyond its Perth base, with new locations available in Western Australia and Queensland.

The business was founded in 2019 and provides franchisees with a turnkey operation, the cost of a studio estimated between $225,000 and $275,000.
