Revo Fitness to open 14 new clubs in Victoria as it rebrands eight Crunch Fitness gyms

Revo Fitness is to open 14 new clubs across Victoria which will more than double its footprint across the state. Key to this growth, is Revo Fitness’ planned transition of eight Crunch Fitness gyms in a strategic move that will see the Australian gym increase its Victorian gym count to 22 clubs.

An additional 15 clubs are planned nationwide over the next 12 months, expanding the brand’s presence from 56 to 85 locations across Australia by the end of 2026.

The growth forms part of Revo’s strategy to reach 100 locations by 2027 – a long way from the single gym in Shenton Park, Western Australia, where Founder and Managing Director Andrew Holder began the Revo Fitness start up story 13 years ago.

With Holder leading this strong growth trajectory, Revo will open gyms in Nunawading, Ballarat, Bayswater North, Footscray, Epping, Hoppers Crossing, Highpoint, Richmond, Chadstone, Springvale, Mentone and three additional locations that are yet to be announced.

The Crunch Fitness gyms will be rebranded in the coming months and undergo complete refurbishments as part of the transition.

The upgraded facilities will give members 24/7 access to twice as many sites in Victoria and include Revo’s boutique offering The Studio – a self-run, on-demand reformer Pilates and recovery space open 24/7, offering members unlimited access to reformer Pilates, massage chairs and muscle therapy and recovery equipment.

Holder enthused “our team is excited to deliver the Revo Fitness offering – that our members have helped us design and love across our journey – to more Australian communities.

“We are very excited to start getting to know the talented Crunch team and connect with their incredible community of members.”

Crunch Fitness Australia Chief Executive Selena Afeaki said the partnership supports Crunch’s focus on growing its New South Wales footprint and the roll out of the new Crunch 3.0 model across other markets in Australia and New Zealand.

Afeaki shared “Revo Fitness understands what it means to serve the local community.

“Both brands are deeply community-focused, and this collaboration opens up new possibilities for our teams and members alike.”

With more Australians working out at a Revo gym than ever, it’s evident that the Revo offering of affordable, premium fitness and no-catch memberships is in high demand.

Revo believes that all Australians deserve access to quality fitness experiences, and it has approached all stages of its expansion with the same member first mentality that it established 13 years ago in its first gym.

Revo Fitness is known for its ‘you grow as we grow’ commitment, increasing its community support with each new gym opening. Revo already backs several Victorian grassroots sporting clubs, including Bentleigh Greens Football Cub and South East Melbourne Netball Club, and at the elite level is a partner of the Melbourne Mavericks Super Netball team.

As Revo grows, so does its impact with Holder adding “we understand the importance of community and, as we welcome Crunch members and staff to Revo, we look forward to providing support for the organisations that matter most to them.”

On top of the exponential growth in Victoria, Revo has continued expansion plans in Western Australia with at least eight new clubs opening and South Australia with six new clubs confirmed to be opening over the next 12 months.
