Parks and Leisure Australia releases Preliminary Program for 2024 National Conference:

Parks and Leisure Australia (PLA) has announced that its 2024 National Conference being held in Brisbane from 13th to 16th October 2024 will have the theme Cities at Play.

Releasing the preliminary program this week, PLA National President, Kristin Davies advised “the 2024 PLA National Conference is set to be an unmissable event, featuring over 50 dynamic presentations and panels, inspiring keynote sessions from industry leaders, and seven interactive hands-on workshops.

“These workshops will offer practical, engaging learning experiences that will not only benefit you but also have a lasting positive impact on your communities.”

The PLA National Conference will also see the presentation of the organisation’s national Awards of Excellence, PLA’s major annual activity that serves as a highpoint of its regional Awards of Excellence

The national winners are to be announced at the annual National Awards of Excellence Gala on Tuesday 15th October in Brisbane.
