Parks and Leisure Australia to stage Queensland/NSW aquatic play and water features forum
Parks and Leisure Australia is expanding from its usual focus on parks management and recreational planning with the upcoming staging of a Queensland/NSW Recreational Aquatics Industry Forum.
Being held at Brisbane’s Victoria Park on 2nd November, the day-long will educational program will cover the creation of successful and sustainable water features and splash parks.
Aimed at designers, specifier and asset owners, the Forum will explore best practices in design principles, engineering and water safety; explore project case studies and offer a detailed in-person technical tour.
Promotion for the event advises “to highlight the opportunities for use of water within recreational aquatic environments, we have gathered a panel of experts from around the world to discuss everything from sustainable design to best-practise engineering, project execution and the global future of our industry.”
It will cover:
The resurgence of water features and splash parks within recreational environments and the benefits they give to communities
