LARCAN consultancy to manage operations for Parks and Leisure Australia's NSW/ACT branch
Port Macquarie-based recreation planning consultancy LARCAN has announced that it has been awarded the Executive Officer contract for Parks and Leisure Australia's NSW/ACT branch.
Commenting on the contract to manage NSW/ACT operations for the national body for parks and recreation professionals, LARCAN Director, Michelle Nolland (pictured below) advised on social media "what an exciting way to begin 2023, and what perfect timing to join the team at Parks and Leisure Australia NSW/ACT as we plan our 2023 calendar of events and annual regional conference which will be held in Albury on 16-18 May 2023."
LARCAN has also recruited Brooke Atkins who, after seven years with Y NSW, is joining the consultancy as joint Executive Director.
Nationally, Australasian Leisure Management understands that PLA will not be replacing former Chief Executive Mark Band who stepped down from the role in Nationally, Australasian Leisure Management understands that PLA will not be replacing former Chief Executive Mark Band, who left the organisation in Mya last year.
It is believed that PLA National Board members are performing the association's executive roles.
