Parks and Leisure Australia to charge up to $60 for tour of the new Parramatta Aquatic Centre
Recreation planning and parks body Parks and Leisure Australia (PLA) has announced a tour of the newly opened Parramatta Aquatic Centre - charging members $35 and non-members $60 for the visit.
Described as an "engaging interactive tour", PLA advise that during the two hour tour "delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a ‘back of house’ tour of the facility, including all public facilities as well as pool plant rooms and back of house offices.
"Our Parramatta Council speakers will share their challenges, learnings, and successes across the journey to get the centre to open, as well as their continued learnings from the first month of operations."
The visit will take place from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday 29th November.
Opened in September, the City of Parramatta’s $88.6 million swimming, fitness and wellness hub features a 50 metre 10-lane Olympic sized heated outdoor pool, a 25 metre eight-lane heated indoor pool, dedicated learn-to-swim indoor pool, spas, sauna, steam room and fitness centre.
