New Platform gym opening coincides with third Dubai Fitness Challenge

With Dubai's annual Fitness Challenge underway, the Platform gym group has opened its second gym in the city.

Located in the Index Towers at the Dubai International Financial Centre, the 929 metre² studio features state-of-the-art, high-tech facilities, including five studios (into each of which a live DJ can pipe through some live tunes), fingerprint-scanning check-in and an in-app booking option for the more than 40 different types of class available .Offerings include spin, HIIT, boxing and the '30x30' - two 30-minute classes delivered back to back.

Aimed at making Dubai "the most active city in the world', the Dubai Fitness Challenge encourages all residents of the Emirate to embrace a happier and more active lifestyle.

Running from 18th October to 16th November, this third edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge is spread out across community-based fitness hubs with over 40 different events and more than 5,000 classes and activities.

The 30-day activity and wellness challenge is offering a well-rounded fitness experience, catering to all ages and abilities based on participants dedicating 30 minutes of each day to adopting a more active lifestyle for the next month and beyond.
