Gunnebo to stage webinar on event security planning at venues

Entrance control experts Gunnebo are to host a webinar on Thursday 18th July which will focus on ways event and venue managers can plan ahead and bring together all required stakeholders to develop a holistic approach to event’s security and safety management plan.

The 30 minute webinar Event Security Planning at Venues - How to Ensure a Holistic Approach, will explore comprehensive strategies to enhance venue security while maintaining an open and welcoming atmosphere.

Hosted by Jade Thompson, Marketing Executive at Gunnebo Australia, the discussion will feature industry experts, Chris Zammit of Sheridan Consulting and Eddie Idik, Chairman of Venue Safety and Security Exchange.

The Discussion
Every event has a unique risk profile; whether it be unauthorised access, attacks on attendees, crowd management, safety breaches, emergencies or the venue’s general threat landscape - all risks must be accounted for.

When an event is being planned, it is important to review all the possible risks and have plans in place that work together simultaneously to deliver on the safety and security of attendees, staff, vendors and the venue alike. To successfully do this, the venue, event organiser, law enforcement and emergency planners must all create plans that can run cohesively and provide an uncompromised level of security.

The webinar will discuss ways to plan ahead and bring together all required stakeholders to develop a holistic approach to your event’s security and safety management plan with tips and tricks to help devise plans that reduce your risk exposure and design a security posture that flows, build management plans that are fit for purpose, provide optimal safety and security measures, and won’t impede on the freedom of movement.
