Australian International Aqua Fitness Convention to be held in Adelaide in 2020

Acquapole® Australasia, Parafield Gardens Swim School and the Waterworld aquatic centre have joined forces to bring the Australian International Aqua Fitness Convention (AIAFC) to Adelaide from the 14th to 16th February next year.

The first, biggest and best international convention for aqua fitness the event aims to cater for the growth in the aquatic fitness market. is a growing and a popular one among many demographics across Australia.

The AIAFC is aimed at aqua instructors (or group fitness instructors thinking about being an aquatic instructor), group fitness managers, facility managers and aqua fitness enthusiasts to be in one place, to network, to see the best presenters in the world and showcase new equipment to the Australian market.

Introducing the Convention, AIAFC Event Co-ordinator and Acquapole® Australia Agent, Donna Stocker explains “the aqua fitness sector in Australia is set for massive growth so there is no better way to facilitate this by bringing the best presenters and equipment from around the globe to Australia and providing educational experiences to upskill this market.

“Acquapole® originates in Italy, and our ties to the European aqua fitness market are strong. We are proud to present International Presenters from Italy and Poland that are attending Australia to present new exciting concepts and equipment to the Australian market.”

Anticipating around 200 delegates from all over the world, Stocker adds “this will be a valuable experience to upskill aqua instructors across Australia and to update aqua programs throughout facilities. Aqua instructors will be able to receive AUSTSWIM PD points and Fitness Australia CEC's for attending the convention.
