AquaPhysical launches new FloatFit group exercise classes for children

Aquatic exercise innovators AquaPhysical have launched a new professionally designed aquatic exercise classes program for children - FloatFit GROW.

Mindful that large numbers of children and young people fail to meet minimum levels of daily activity, AquaPhysical co-founder and Head of Programming, Tom Whelan explains that FloatFit GROW Classes are “a great opportunity for swimming pools to engage with younger members of the community and be instrumental in instilling the importance of a physically active lifestyle.”

With FloatFit GROW Classes being introduced in selected clubs and facilities, FloatFit GROW Classes, AquaPhysical creator Leila Francis Coleman adds “experienced fitness instructors help children develop a positive attitude to learning new skills and building water confidence.

“Group exercise has a positive impact on mental wellbeing and happiness. FloatFit GROW is already making a difference.”

FloatFit GROW joins AquaPhysical’s current FloatFit programs: FloatFit HIIT (the original high intensity interval workout on water) and FloatFit BALANCE (inspired by Yoga and Pilates)

By implementing FloatFit, increased member acquisition, engagement and retention is possible. AquaPhysical launched FloatFit HIIT Classes across select Belgravia Leisure sites in November 2018 and is set to continue expanding class locations in Australasia over the coming year.
