Aussie World has holiday success and offers guests free entry during May
Aussie World has announced that entry to the park is free between 6th and 22nd May, 2022 which will include any in-park entertainment.
Pay-per-ride prices are available for anyone wanting to ride as much or as little as they like.
In a positive sign for the Sunshine Coast tourism industry, Aussie World has recorded its most successful holiday period in two years during the Easter break.
With interstate travellers flocking back to the sunshine state, the theme park and its neighbouring attractions, The Banana Bender Pub and Artisun, all enjoyed their busiest months during March and April.
The increase is due to several factors including the reopening of all borders, less restrictions and the removal of the vaccine mandate.
The Banana Bender Pub’s Mother’s Day event attracted around 200 people on Sunday and was a sell-out event.
Aussie World Manager Shannon Fay enthused “It’s been fantastic to see so many families return to our venues in recent months and enjoy a normal holiday period with limited restrictions.
“We would like to invite our locals back to Aussie World this month by trialling a new pricing structure that will include free entry for everyone.”
There will be $10 individual ride tickets available for purchase at the park which will include most rides with the exception of SX360, Redback, Mayhem Maze, Illusionarium and Mini Golf, which will cost $15 per ride.
For guests who are certain they want to ride as much as possible throughout the day, unlimited day passes are still available for $39.50 per person.
The change will allow adults to visit the theme park with their children and be spectators for free, rather than paying to enter the park.
