Aussie World promotes newly-themed Retro Rocket ride

Encouraging those able to visit the Sunshine Coast to take in the amusement park with family and friends, Aussie World has advised of its new events and signature rides that guests can experience during the upcoming spring school holidays.

Set to reintroduce its Ride the Night evening opening on Friday 24th September, Aussie World’s new thrill ride SX360 - towering at the top of the park will displays its distinctive flashing lights.

Ride the Night will also celebrate the long-awaiting return of the Ballroom Blitz, the family-favourite swinging chair ride that creates an ambient backdrop for any night event.

Another new experience for visitors will be the newly-themed Retro Rocket ride which now has a science-fiction theme that takes you on a journey through the universe.

Encouraging Queenslanders to plan a trip to the park this month, Aussie World Manager Shannon Fay stated “there’s no better way to make memories with loved one than spending a day or two filled with fun and laughter, and a few thrills at the Sunshine Coast’s only theme park.

“We have embraced Tourism and Events Queensland’s Days Like This campaign, which is such a great opportunity to showcase our state’s attractions and give a boost to local businesses doing it tough.”

“It’s certainly an important time for us all to be making the most of down time together, and to continue to get behind local businesses to ensure their survival through the pandemic and beyond.”

Aussie World’s new SX360 ride was the cover feature in Australasian Leisure Management issue 145.
