Aligned Leisure takes over management of seven Casey major leisure facilities

Aligned Leisure has taken over management of seven of the City of Casey's major leisure facilities; Casey ARC, Casey RACE, Doveton Pool in the Park, Casey Stadium, Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre, Olive Road Sporting Complex and The Shed Skatepark (effective 1st July).

Last year, Council announced plans to streamline the management and operation of these facilities, which were previously managed by three separate partners across four separate contacts or service agreements.

Former managers of Council's aquatics and leisure facilities included YMCA Victoria, Skateparks Australia and Casey Netball Association.

Most programs will continue to run as usual, however, families will see some changes to the Learn To Swim program which will now be delivered by Life Saving Victoria and the gymnastics program which is being delivered in partnership with Gymnastics Victoria.

City of Casey Chief Executive Glenn Patterson said Aligned Leisure is a highly capable, community-focused organisation that has a proven record in facility management and community activation.

Patterson advised “we are very pleased to partner with Aligned Leisure, who are leaders in the aquatics and leisure industry. They provide an exceptional range of innovative, inclusive and high-quality programs that will be delivered within the facilities.

“Our leisure facilities are highly valued by the community and play a vital role in improving the overall physical, social and mental wellbeing of our residents and visitors.'

Patterson thanked the former managers of Council's aquatics and leisure facilities, YMCA Victoria, Skateparks Australia and Casey Netball Association, for the service they have provided to the Casey community for many years.
