ActiveXchange establishes strategic partnership with Recreation Aotearoa
Market leading and multi-award-winning data intelligence industry specialists ActiveXchange have partnered with Recreation Aotearoa, New Zealand's peak body for Recreation, to empower an industry-wide revolution to get more people, more active, more often, in more places and spaces.
The strategic partnership will advance the way data and analysis can effectively be applied to relevant industry topics such as member acquisition and retention, market segmentation, targeted community impacts, social value, grant applications and much more.
The partnership will also put ActiveXchange’s Data Science Team at the fingertips of 100’s of organisations and communities across New Zealand. It will allow the industry to fast track and upskill their data analytics and combine fragmented data from across the country into actionable and connected insights so each partner organisation is more informed and can make positive change happen faster.
ActiveXchange Chief Executive James Ellender says that after a difficult 2021 for everyone in the industry, 2022 is shaping up to be a big year for data and insights.
Ellender advises “we’re really looking forward to making 2022 the year of education, empowerment and positive outcomes as we double down on supporting the Network as everyone puts every effort towards trying to get more people, more active, more often.
“The Strategic Partnership will be very much a collaborative process and we are looking forward to the guidance from Recreation Aotearoa and its members in harnessing SportsEye and the power of a connected Network to collaborate around issues such as climate action and disability access, as well as to strategically plan outreach to at-risk communities.”
Recreation Aotearoa Chief Executive Andrew Leslie adds “we have had a long running relationship with ActiveXchange and are really pleased to have it formalised with this partnership. This is a chance for us to use the data to inform our work and identify areas of need in the recreation sector and surrounding communities.”
"This new partnership is in excellent alignment with our new strategy. We are looking forward to gaining insights that will help inform the mahi we are doing to ensure all New Zealanders have equitable access to recreation opportunities.”
