Second Recreation Aotearoa Industry Leaders Summit opens doors to thought leadership and best practice
After last year’s successful launch in partnership with Recreation Aotearoa, Belgravia Leisure will once again welcome sector executives at the Recreation Aotearoa Industry Leaders Summit.
Hosted at Claudelands Event Centre in Hamilton on 26th November, this year’s event will precede the Recreation Conference, and will bring together chief executives, general managers, team leaders, marketers, commercial managers and participation managers from across the industry to be inspired, stimulate new thinking and motivate action, while offering great networking opportunities.
Welcoming the launch of the event, with registrations now open to all Recreation Conference delegates, Recreation Aotearoa Chief Executive, Andrew Leslie stated “the partnership with Belgravia Leisure supports our 2020 strategic priorities to facilitate and strengthen connections between people working in the recreation industry. We support on-going sharing, learning, and collaboration between different sectors at all levels.
“The event will highlight insights into the growing and changing future of leisure management. It will share leisure management best practices whilst providing an overview on the future of leisure through the use of business intelligence tools, customer experience and increased engagement.
“There will also be a strong focus on Leadership, enabling delegates to create and manage high performance teams.”
Nick Cox, Chief Executive Belgravia Leisure is one of the speakers, along with Aaron Davis, New Zealand’s 2019 Auctioneer Champion; Dom Vettisse a Clinical Psychologist who has worked with the New Zealand Black Ferns and other elite sports; Laurie Sharp, Head of Coaching and Development, ASB Bank; Sharon Masson, Group Marketing Manager, Belgravia Leisure and Mark Blake, General Manager New Zealand, Belgravia Leisure - who will host the Summit.
