Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre named Belgravia Leisure’s Facility of the Year

With close to 200 members of the facility management company’s team in attendance, the Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre was named Belgravia Leisure’s Facility of the Year at its annual awards dinner last Thursday.

Located in the suburb of Marrickville in inner western Sydney, the Centre, which had earlier, been named Belgravia Leisure’s NSW Facility of the Year Award for the second year running, is a vibrant and popular community hub.

Doncaster Aquarena was also a double winner on the night, securing the Health and Safety Award and the Health Club of the Year Award.

The major night of the year for addressing performance and excellence, the Awards dinner was addressed by Belgravia Group Chairman Geoff Lord; Belgravia Leisure Chief Executive Nick Cox; Belgravia Foundation Chief Executive Dr Jeff Walkley and Belgravia Leisure General Manager Corporate Services, Alex Lord.

The awards dinner saw Olympic gold medal winning swimmer and Belgravia Leisure ambassador Brooke Hansen entertain the crowd as master of ceremonies.

The awards followed Belgravia Leisure teams from across Australia and New Zealand having come together to workshop and plan, network and celebrate successes at their conference held as part of the National Sports Convention.
