Grant Connors moves from ARV to Belgravia Leisure
Grant Connors, Chief Executive of Aquatics and Recreation Victoria, has been appointed to the role of Area Manager for Belgravia Leisure’s Moonee Valley City Council contract.
Connors joins Belgravia Leisure to re-connect with facility management having influenced a significant operational and strategic shift at ARV. During his time with the body, he was responsible for membership growth, program development and successfully securing a multi-year government grant has influenced both growth and financial sustainability.
Prior to his role with ARV, Connors managed multiple aquatic facilities in the private swim school sector in both Victoria and Queensland, holding various roles within accounting, finance and sales in the private sector.
Connors also sits on a number of industry advisory groups including the board of peak body the Australian Leisure Facilities Association, the National Aquatic Industry Committee and holds a number of other advisory roles for state departments.
Announcing the new appointment, Belgravia Leisure Chief Executive, Nick Cox stated “Grant is a great fit for our organisation, bringing strong leadership, sound financial understanding and highly skilled stakeholder relations with a history of building strong relationships and leading teams”.

This appointment is important for the Belgravia Leisure team as they continue to build a strong network of industry leaders to support the continued growth of the business.
