Western Australian Police warn trespassers over accessing Perth's Adventure World

Western Australia Police have issued a statement discouraging youth from trespassing at Perth's Adventure World.

The warning comes after footage emerged on social media of teenagers scaling walls to enter the amusement and water park at Bibra Lake in Perth’s southern suburbs - which is currently closed for the winter months.

The alleged trespassers have filmed themselves exploring rides and waterslides out-of-hours, prompting “multiple reports” to authorities.

A statement from Western Australian Police advised "can we ask all parents to remind their teenage children that Adventure World is private property and jumping the fence onto the grounds is considered trespassing.

“We’ve had numerous reports this week of youths attending day (and) night whilst the park is closed.”

On social media, some of the alleged trespassers have claimed it was “easy as” to get in and shared vision of their visits exploring the empty park.

In one video viewed 50,000 times, one person films as he walks through the Kraken, a $7 million waterslide that opened in 2015.

In another clip shared to TikTok and 'liked' 500 times, a group strolls the same ride and explores other sections of the park, describing it as “sick as”.

One person replying to the Western Australia Police message argued more was needed to keep Perth’s youths entertained if they really wanted to stamp out the issue.

It explained "in that area, total failure of local government. Poverty, crime and drugs are rife.

“The teenagers in that area have no healthy outlets and are going to repeat the cycle.”

Adventure World will re-open to guest at the end of September.
