Adventure World unveils its first new ride for children in more than 10 years

Perth theme park Adventure World has launched its new ride for children, Yarli’s Dragon Chase, at Dragon’s Kingdom - a section of the theme park designed specifically for families with young children.

The first new ride for children in more than a decade, Yarli’s Dragon Chase is inspired by the park’s popular character Yarli the Dragon and will take its young riders soaring into the sky on an interactive ride.

Occupying over 13,000 metre² of the park, with the arrival of Yarli’s Dragon Chase, Dragon’s Kingdom will now feature seven amusement rides, complemented by Kingdom Falls, an interactive aquatic playground.

Adventure World Chief Executive, Andrew Sharry said the park had been busy over the past decade adding new rides such as the Goliath, Kraken, Abyss, as well as expanding food and beverage services, meaning it had been 10 years since a ride designed especially for families with young children had been installed.

Sharry advised “we’ve spent quite some time working with the team both locally at a park level and internationally with our manufacturer and we think we’ve landed somewhere really fun with Yarli’s Dragon Chase.”

Yarli’s Dragon Chase has been manufactured by Zamperla, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of amusement rides, with the Italian brand boasting clients such as Disney, Universal Studios, Six Flags and Paramount Parks.

Sharry added “working with Zamperla for more than two decades now, we know what our park-goers are looking for and we can’t wait to deliver another world-class children’s family ride to the park.”
