Victorian Aquatic and Recreation Awards
Now in its 10th year, new award categories have been announced for Aquatic and Recreation Victoria's 2010 Awards.
After a review of last year's categories the new awards will ensure the achievement and contribution of industry personnel, programs and facilities continues to be recognised appropriately.
The award categories are:
* Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to the Aquatic and Recreation Industry
* Facility Management of the Year Award featuring two categories - all Year Aquatic and Recreation Facility and Seasonal Aquatic and Recreation Facility
* Swim School of the Year Award
* Health Club of the Year Award
* Innovative Program of the Year Award
* Pool Lifeguard of the Year Award
* Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety of the Year Award - three categories nominated as Victoriaâs representatives for the AUSTSWIM National Awards.
* Most Valuable Employee of the Year Award
* Group Exercise Instructor of the Year Award
* Duty Manager of the Year Award
* Gym Instructor / Personal Trainer of the Year Award
* Customer Service Officer of the Year Award
The Awards will be presented at a special night hosted by Tony Jones of Channel 9, on Friday 28th May 2010 at the Crown Palladium, Melbourne.
